60-year-old pedestrian struck by car succumbs to wounds

The 60-year-old pedestrian who was seriously injured after being struck by a car on the Netanya Interchange has passed away from his injures. MDA paramedics who were alerted to the scene attempt to revive the man but were eventually forced to declare him dead.
An initial police investigation revealed the incident was a hit and run, and the police are currently searching for the driver of the car who fled the scene after striking the man. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
