Netanya accident resulting in man's death not a hit and run

The police's investigation into the Netanya Interchange accident which resulted in the death of a 59-year-old man revealed that in contradiction to original assessments the incident was not a hit and run.
The investigation revealed the pedestrian was drunk and walked along the road and highway when he fell and was then run over by a car. The car's driver then alerted police and paramedics. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
