Syrian rebels: Assad crossed red line when he killed protesters
None
In wake of the US announcement regarding chemical weapons use in Syria, Free Syrian Army Chief of Staff General Salim Idriss said that he was against direct US military intervention but were very much open to military aid.
Regarding the issue of the red line, Idriss said that Assad's regime had already crossed a red line when it began killing protesters, which he dubbed crimes against humanity. Assad, he says, did not use chemical weapons against Israel, but rather against the Syrian people. (Roi Kais)
