Ahmadinejad: Syrian rebels victory to trigger regional unrest

A victory for the Syrian insurgency over the regime of Bashar Assad will trigger a wave of unrest threatening the entire region, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Sunday.
"The coming to power of a group through war will be followed by a lengthy period of regional instability," Ahmadinejad said in a statement on his official site. (AFP)
