Knesset secures female participation in appointment of rabbis

Ministerial Committee for Legislation ratidied a law proposal aimed to secure representation of women at the Knesset committee tasked with appointing chief rabbis.
According to the terms of the bill, submitted by by MK Eliezer Stern of Hatnua party, there should be a minimum female participation of 20% at the committee. (Moran Azulay)
