Palestinians demand that Hamas release relatives
Dozens of Palestinians protested in Gaza City, demanding the release of extremist Salafist relatives who had been arrested by Hamas. The protesters, mostly women and children, carried signs calling for the prisoners' freedom.

More than 20 militant Salafists in the Gaza Strip are currently held by Hamas authorities, some are on a hunger strike. Arrests increased in recent weeks as a result of mortar shells fired at Israel by the Salafists. (AFP)
