Putin, Obama discuss anti-terrorism cooperation

Aides to Russian President Vladimir Putin say he and President Barack Obama have agreed to intensify contacts between their security agencies on fighting terrorism, especially in light of the Boston Marathon bombings.

Putin and Obama spoke by telephone on Monday at the US president's initiative, the aides were quoted as saying by Russian news agencies. (AP)
