Police to probe alleged sexual harassment by journalist

Investigators to look into complaints that journalist Emanuel Rosen has been harassing coworkers; Rosen suspends himself, says complaints are part of ongoing campaign to 'tarnish my reputation'

Police Chief Yohanan Danino on Monday ordered investigators to look into claims that journalist Emanuel Rosen has been harassing female coworkers.
The results of the probe will determine whether an official investigation be launched.

During the probe, investigators will gather evidence and question the complainants regarding their claims that Rosen allegedly harassed them.
"There is no criminal offense here and I'm sure that this probe will be over quickly," said Lior Epstein, the journalist's representative.
Rosen, who will not be questioned unless suspicions are verified, suspended himself from his position as Channel 10's political commentator after the complaints became public.
Announcing his suspension, the journalist stated: "An anonymous campaign to tarnish my reputation has been ongoing for ten years… presenting an imaginary character that does not exist – 'a harassing Emanuel Rosen.'"
He had removed himself from additional public positions in television and radio.
