Minister Ariel: Budget must fund settlement construction

Construction and Housing Minister Uri Ariel met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Tuesday and told the PM that a budget that will not allocate funds to construction of settlements in the West Bank will not win the approval of Ariel's hardline Habayit Hayehudi party.
Ariel said that failure to bankroll the settlement projects that were agreed upon after the Palestinian's unilateral move at the UN General assembly last year will be seen as going back on promises. (Attila Somfalvi)
