Netanyahu to Eitan Wertheimer: Kudos to you, Israeli industry
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Iscar Chairman Eitan Wertheimer and congratulated him on the completion of Berkshire Hathaway acquisition of Iscar, which acquired the remaining 20% stake in Israeli tool maker from Wertheimer family. The original 80% were purchased by Warren Buffet seven years ago.
"You have created something amazing. This is an honorable accomplishment both for you and the Israeli industry. Warren Buffet knows what he is investing in. I thank you in the name of the State's Treasury," he said. (Attila Somfalvi)
