Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett announced a new procedure his office will employ in dealing with manufacturers: “the red phone.” According to the procedure, an industry that would face risk due to various reasons (such as regulation) will receive Bennett’s personal, immediate attention.
In addition, Bennett promised that every appeal of an industrialist to the Ministry would be assigned to one of his team members within 48 hours. Bennett made these statements at a meeting with members of The Manufacturers Association of Israel and The Bureau of Coordination of Economic Organizations. (Tom Ziv)
