Associates of Eli Yishai said he is having trouble accepting Rabbi Ovadia Yosef's decision to appoint Aryeh Deri as the sole leader of Shas.
Yishai, who served as co-chairman of the party, did not arrive at Rabbi Yosef's home for morning prayers, as he normally does. "He did not want to come here after he was so humiliated," a Shas activist said. (Kobi Nahshoni)
