In its first security step since the Boston Marathon bombing the Department of Homeland Security instructed the United States Border Patrol to increase its vigilance and make sure every foreign national who arrives to the US for higher education purposes holds an up-to-date student visa.
On Thursday it was reported that one of the Kazakhs arrested for allegedly aiding Dzokhar Tsarnaev, the suspected bomber, was allowed into the US with an expired student visa. (Yitzhak Benhorin)
