Stolen car crashes into another, injuring pregnant passenger

A 30- year-old Palestinian flipped the vehicle he was driving on Route 5 before colliding with a car in which a 30-year-old pregnant Israeli was traveling, wounding her lightly.
The Palestinian man is suspected of stealing the car and breaking through a barrier near the settlement of Barkan. During the police chase which followed, shots were fired at the fleeing vehicle before it overturned. Magen David Adom staff transferred the Palestinian to Chaim Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, in serious condition. The Israeli civilian was taken to Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva.
