The Habayit Hayedhu and Shas parties agreed to promote the election of Rabbi Shlomo Amar and Rabbi Yaakov Ariel to Israel's Chief Rabbinate.
The agreement followed intensive debates lasting over the last few weeks, ahead of the election scheduled for the upcoming months. (Kobi Nachshoni)
