French FM on Syria strikes: We can understand Israel
French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius commented on reports of Israeli strikes in Syria and said that "We can understand (Israel) but it is a risk" adding that "if the conflict spreads to neighboring countries, it is a turning point in the nature of this conflict."
Speaking during a visit to Hong-Kong the French diplomat called for a political solution to the crisis in Syria which he described as a "regional tragedy." (AFP)
