IDF plan will see army service shortened to 32 months

IDF officers unveiled a plan to shorten army service for men and women by four months to 32 months. If approved, the change will become effective as of July 2015.

 

A statement issued by the Defense Ministry said that Minister Moshe Ya'alon has approved the plan proposed by Chief of Staff Benny Gantz. The initiative is pending the cabinet's approval. (Ynet)
