Russia: Working to maintain stability between Syria, Israel

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov talked on the phone with his Syrian counterpart Walid al-Muallem following the attacks in Damascus attributed to Israel. According to Syria's official news agency, Lavrov said that his country is acting to maintain regional stability.
Al-Muallem stressed Syria's right to respond to the attacks, and Lavrov warned of "developments" which could not be controlled. Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin talked on the phone with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. (Roi Kais)
