Mortar shell fired from Syria hits open area in southern Golan
A mortar shell fired from Syria landed in the southern Golan Heights, near the border fence. The mortar hit an open area without causing any injuries or damage.
IDF forces are combing the area. Military officials believe the incident was the result of errant fire. A complaint has been filed with the UN headquarters in the area. (Yoav Zitun)
