Knesset Member Itzik Shmuli (Labor) responded to the Finance Ministry budget proposal, saying that "(Finance Minister) Yair Lapid is a 2013 model of a 2003 Benjamin Netanyahu model. The person who asked 'where is the money' and put red lines on this policy became its contractor.
"Lapid returned to us within a few days with a plan worse than the one that led us to elections. Every middle class family will pay NIS 8,500 ($2400) a year – there's the money," he added. (Moran Azulay)
