Sappers detonate suspicious object in West Bank

Sappers detonated an unknown object suspected to be an explosive device in a settlement in the West Bank.

A preliminary investigation reveals that the object was attached to an operating mechanism, and the suspicion is that those who placed it planned on blowing it up in the vicinity of security men. The object was taken by security forces for further investigation. (Itamar Fleishman)
