Yachimovich on Governance Bill: Why not expel opponents?
Opposition leader Shelly Yachimovich said in a hearing on the Governance Bill that it was a "brazen proposal, brutal, dictatorial and hypocritical. Are we a monarchy?”
To the bill’s sponsor, Yachimovich said, “Maybe you will decide that we should expel and dismiss from the Knesset anyone who does not agree with the government?" Regarding Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, Yachimovich said, "All the ministers voted in favor, including the opposition leader.
