Hawking: Cancelation due to boycott, not health
Cambridge University spokesperson said that physicist Stephen Hawking, who cancelled his participation in the Presidential Conference in Jerusalem, sent a letter to President Shimon Peres explaining that his decision was influenced by Palestinian academics who asked him to uphold the academic boycott on Israel.
Earlier Wednesday the university spokesperson denied the political motivation behind the cancelation, saying it was dictated by medical reasons. (Boaz Fyler)
