Labor Federation Chief Eini praises Lapid
During a joint press conference currently being held with Finance Minister Yair Lapid, Histadrut Labor Federation Chairman Ofer Eini, said: "We also need to share part of the burden and lend a helping hand to save Israel's economy. I hope these moves will lead to growth and when that happens many problems will be resolved."
Eini praised Lapid and said that he "exhibited extreme sensitivity," adding that "there is no doubt that tax hikes will exert a toll on the lower and middle class, but I hope we will be able to improve their situation." (Noam Dvir)
