US discussing giving Russia missile defense data

The head of the US Missile Defense Agency says that the Obama administration has discussed declassifying key data on US missile defense in order to provide it to Russia.

Under questioning by a Republican lawmaker Wednesday, Missile Defense Agency director Vice Adm. James Syring said that he has discussed declassifying data, including the speed of interceptors, with senior Defense Department officials. (AP)
