B'Tselem: Majority of Palestinians killed in Gaza op were civilians
Most of the Palestinians killed during Operation Pillar of Defense were non-combatant civilians, a B'Tselem report claims.
According to the report, the operation saw 167 Palestinians killed, of which only 69 were combatants. The group claims that it is possible the IDF violated the laws of war. The IDF said in response that the majority of cases where Palestinian civilians were killed had been already examined and there was no justification for a criminal investigation. (Elior Levy)
