Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett expressed support for Finance Minister Yair Lapid, who presented Wednesday the agreements he had formulated with Histadrut chairman Ofer Eini. In private conversations, Bennett said, "Public anger is legitimate; what is less legitimate is the silence of members of the government. Even if there are things to fix, you first provide backing, and then perform repairs. Not remain silent."
On his Facebook page, Bennett wrote, "…I back Yair Lapid. Every month we spent money we did not have, and Lapid immediately placed a tourniquet to stop the bleeding." (Moran Azulay)
