Hezbollah chief says Syria's retaliation to alleged Israeli strikes in Damascus will come in form or arming Shiite group, which will 'free occupied Syrian Golan, retaliate future Israeli strikes

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah addressed Thursday the alleged Israeli strikes on Syria, saying that Israel's goals in these attacks were to take Syria out of the Israeli-Arab conflict, knowing that Syria was key in the Lebanese resistance.

Speaking in an event marking the 25th anniversary of Hezbollah's Al-Nour radio station, Nasrallah added that "There are those who want Syria to retaliate and bomb Israel, but the Syrian response would be to supply better and stronger weapons to the resistance. That is a much more powerful response than bombing Israel would be."
