A source close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the PM was not aware of the high costs of installing a bedchamber on planes used for flights abroad. When informed, he ordered that the installation of chambers be stopped on flights to Europe.
The source said, "It is important the Prime Minister sleep on his flights abroad, but this can be done at lower prices.” Friday it was reported that Netanyahu demanded installation of a double bed for himself and his wife before their UK flight, at a cost of hundreds of thousands of shekels.
