Over 2,000 demonstrate in TA, Haifa vs. cutbacks

More than 2,000 people have gathered in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv to protest Finance Minister Yair Lapid’s planned economic cutbacks. In Haifa, another crowd of demonstrators numbering some 150 people are gathered in Horev Center. Two-hundred people are gathered in Gan Hasus in Jerusalem and marching toward the Prime Minister's Residence.

Additional protests are expected in Modiin, Rishon Lezion and Ashdod. (Gilad Morag, Ahiya Raved, Noam Dvir)
