Report: Rebels release UN peacekeepers in Golan Heights
Arab media reported that the al-Yarmouk Brigade, an Syrian opposition group in the Golan Heights region, are currently handing over the four Philippine UN peacekeepers kidnapped last week. The Russia al-Youm channel claims they have already been released and handed over at the Quneitra crossing.
Last week the rebels released a statement claiming they have tried to get the peacekeepers out of a battle zone and are holding them to keep them safe. (Roi Kais)
