State: Cancel adoption process on surrogate pregnancies

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein presented the Supreme Court with his position regarding several petitions on the issue of foreign surrogate pregnancy, requesting the spouse, who is not the biological parent, be able to register as a parent without an adoption process.
Weinstein wrote that the parent unrelated genetically to the child will receive parenthood status through a court order without the need for the long and complex adoption process until legislation on the matter is finalized. (Aviel Magnezi)
