4th-6th century BC mosaic discovered in northern Negev
A colorful mosaic dating back to the 4th-6th century BC was discovered in an archeological dig in the Beit Kama kibbutz in the northern Negev.
The mosaic is in good condition and is decorated by several motifs of wine caskets and perfumes. Israel Antiquities Authority invited the general public to view the mosaic on Shavuot. (Ziv Reinstein)
