Woman poses as doctor, injects patients to melt cellulites

The Haifa Magistrate's Court sentenced Violeta Yaakovov Abadov, 43, from Netanya, to two years in jail for impersonating a physician and conducting cosmetic operations in four women.

The indictment reveals that during 2008 the accused injected the women with various substances claiming they will melt cellulites and narrow their waist. Due to the injections, the women developed sores and blisters and one of them was hospitalized. Abadov will also compensate the plaintiffs by NIS 5,000 ($1400). (Ahiya Raved)
