Economy looses 462,000 working days to strikes in 2012

The Israeli economy suffered a loss of approximately 462,000 working days in the year 2012 due to strikes, according to a Treasury report. This represents a downward trend compared to the previous year.

 

According to the report, 24 strikes were held during the year, with some 169,000 workers taking part. The majority of the strikes broke over compensation claims. (Billie Frenkel)
