Shas MK Eli Yishai announced Sunday to the party's spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef that he will not be accepting the nomination to head the party's Educational network.
Yishai has been acting as Shas chairman for the past 14 years, but was sharing the office with Ariel Atias and Aryeh Deri when the latter was released from prison and resumed his political career at the end of 2012. (Moran Azulay)
