25 years for man who kidnapped, tried to kill millionaire

Tel Aviv District Court sentenced Michael Yaroslavsky to 25 years in prison for kidnapping and attempting to kill a millionaire business woman from Jerusalem in 2010. Yaroslavsky also robbed a currency exchange. Another man, Maxim Gurevich, was given a seven year sentence for his involvement in the woman’s kidnapping.
A month ago, Yaroslavsky escaped from Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba and threatened guards who had accompanied him with a gun. He was captured a few hours later. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
