Rebels: Assad could massacre Homs stronghold

The Syrian opposition issued a statement saying that the army of President Bashar Assad may soon be commit a massacre in the city of al-Kosiir, located in the Homs province.
According to the announcement, Syrian army forces have advanced towards the town, known as a stronghold of the rebel forces, and 30,000 residents are in immediate danger. (AFP)
