At least two mortar shells were fired into Israeli territory near Mount Hermon in the Golan Heights Wednesday. According to assessments, they were mistakenly fired at Israel as part of the Syrian conflict. No injuries or damage were reported.
The IDF has decided to close off the Mount Hermon site to visitors. In the meanwhile, a complaint has been lodged with Golan-based UN peacekeeping force. (Yoav Zitun)
