Piron: Student scholarship budget to increase

Education Minister Shai Piron announced an increase in the budget for scholarships to needy students in schools to NIS 50 million. The budget includes full funding of yearly trips, assistance in purchasing school supplies and funding of cultural activities for children from first grade to twelfth grades.
Additional funding will take the scholarship fund budget to NIS100 million. (Shahar Chai)
