The Haifa District Attorney's Office filed an indictment with the Akko Magistrate's Court against Simon Sa'adati, 34, for exiting the country illegally. Sa'adati crossed the border from Israel to Lebanon near Rosh Hanikra two weeks ago.
Sa'adati jumped the border fence, and was arrested by the Lebanese army. He was returned to Israel by the Red Cross four days later. The court extended his remand until further notice. (Ahiya Raved and Maor Buchnik)
