MK Nachman Shai: Home front report 'failure'
Member of Knesset Nachman Shai (Labor) made remarks about the home front defense report, which revealed low levels of preparedness regarding chemical terrorism. "The distress in the gas masks field and poor preparedness have come up numerous times on State Comptroller's reports, and in public messages by the Home Front commanders," said Shai.
Shai added: "The fact the State is not properly prepared is inviting a new national failure, the kind we keep insisting will happen to us. The tension in the north is a reminder of that awful possibility." (Yoav Zitun)
