Obama ashamed by military's failure to stop sexual assaults
President Barack Obama said US military leaders are ashamed about the military's failure to stop sexual assaults in the ranks. Obama also noted there was no easy solution to the problem and that it would take a sustained effort, but that no stone will be left unturned, as the sexual assault problem makes the military less effective.
A Pentagon report claimed that as many as 26,000 military members may have been sexually assaulted last year. (AP)
