German FM meets Peres: Stop Syrian bloodshed

German Foreign Minister Gido Westerwelle said in his meeting with President Shimon Peres that nuclear weapons in Iranian hands is not an option, and added that a way must be found to stop the Syrian bloodshed.
Peres said that an agreement must be reached to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as soon as possible, and also referred to the Syrian situation, stressing the connection between Iran and Syria, and urged the continued sanctions on Iran. (Noam Dvir)
