Westerwelle: Germany wishes to aid revival of peace talks

German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said Germany wishes to contribute to the revival of peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.
Westerwelle, on a two-day visit to Israel and the Palestinian Authority, said "Germany could help create an atmosphere of confidence," necessary to overcome the stalemate in the negotiations. (AFP)
