Indictment: Man raped, assaulted wife for years

The Tel Aviv District Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against a 31-year-old resident of the city who allegedly raped and assaulted his wife for years while they lived in Israel and Uzbekistan. The man has been charged with rape, sodomy and aggravated assault.
According to the indictment, during one of the violent incidents the man kicked his wife in the stomach while she was pregnant, causing a miscarriage. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
