According to a Mina Zemach survey, 82% of Israelis feel the State does not give an ample answer to social problems and that civil action is needed to change the situation.
The survey, conducted for the Shatil NGO, found that only 11% of the 482 sampled believe the State is addressing social problems. Of those sampled, 68% said the social protest intensified the public's belief in its power to change the situation. (Omri Efraim)
