Sexual harassment law updated for Internet

The Ministerial Committee on Legislation unanimously ratified a bill seeking to extend the application of the sexual harassment law to the Internet and social media.
On the terms of the bill, submitted by Yesh Atid MK Yifat Kariv, unsanctioned distribution of intimate photos and videos online will be considered a criminal offense punishable by up to five years in prison. (Moran Azulay)
