Prices database for food, cosmetics, fuel in the works

The Ministerial Committee for Legislation approved the bill submitted by MK Nachman Shai (Labor) effecting the establishment of a Treasury-controlled price database for food, cosmetics and fuel.
According to the proposal, the database should allow consumers to compare prices of different products on various chains and choose the cheapest product. (Moran Azulay)
