Minister Piron: 5 professional schools to open next year

At the Education, Culture and Sports Committee in the Knesset, Education Minister Shai Piron reviewed the ministry's plans for his upcoming term in office.
Piron said that in the next school year, five professional schools teaching subjects such as engraving and woodworking will be opened. "There are some kids in Israel frustrated with the race for a diploma. The plan is to create professional training programs coordinated with the IDF and its needs," he said. (Shahar Chai)
